Among the people who should not take tadalafil are those who are allergic to tadalafil or any of its inactive components and those taking a nitrate for angina. A few other precautions and warnings for tadalafil include potential drug interactions, conditions to let your healthcare provider know about before you take tadalafil (including liver disease or failure), and the risk of a prolonged and sometimes painful erection (lasting longer than four hours) in some people taking this medicine.
What Should I Tell My Doctor?

- Any allergies.
Also, tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, antacids, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
Who Should Not Take Tadalafil?

You should not take this drug if:
- You are allergic to tadalafil or any component of tadalafil or Cialis. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.

A five mg dose of Tadalafil (Cialis) daily helped males overcome erectile dysfunction and improved their sexual lives, besides being well tolerated, according to a new study.
Erectile dysfunction or ED is consistent inability to attain and maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse.
The 12-week study monitored 342 men and their female partners, using several scientific questionnaires to assess changes in erectile function and sexual quality of life before and after treatment with a Tadalafil daily dose.
‘This is the first study of Tadalafil five mg daily dose in the treatment of men with ED in which the female partner reported improvement in sexual quality of life scores,’ said lead investigator Eusebio Rubio-Aurioles, professor of psychiatry at the Mexican National University.
